UPDATE ON WESTERHAM HILL BY LAURA TROTT MP

I am delighted to share that at the end of last week Kent County Council confirmed the proposed road works and road closure from Thames Water on #Westerham Hill, provisionally scheduled for August 2023, have been postponed.

This is brilliant news for local residents and local businesses, and I am so glad our concerns have been listened to, and acted upon.

The works do need to take place, however as I understand it there have been some positive discussions with some of the local stakeholders about the challenges the works present. Going forward their views, alongside the hope to minimise disruption, will be taken into consideration.

I will continue to work with your local Conservative councillors, Kent County Councillor, Cllr Nick Chard and Sevenoaks District Council Official Councillors, Cllr Diane Esler and Cllr Kevin Maskell, on this very important local issue – and share updates as and when.
