COVID-19 Update: It is vitally important to follow all advice about social distancing and hygiene specified below. Any plot holder who is self-isolating because a household member is ill with COVID-19 should not be visiting the allotments. We are following the advice of the National Allotments Society.

The Allotments shall remain open providing the following is adhered to:

  • Social distancing must be adhered to in line with current government advice
  • Any children attending must be supervised at all times and remain on their plot
  • Wear gloves, especially when touching gates and taps
  • Use hand sanitiser
  • Do not wash your hands in water troughs
  • Do not use any communal facilities
  • All gardeners to use their own tools and not to share with others
  • Any gardener in receipt of any direction to self-isolate shall not visit the allotments

We will update this page if the situation changes.

Grow your own – rent an allotment!

Allotment gardening is a great way to keep fit, enjoy the fresh air, make new friends and grow your own fresh produce. Allotment gardening is hard work, but very rewarding!

Westerham Town Council  has three sites: Bloomfield, Currant Hill and Farley Allotments.

The cost of renting a full allotment is just 12p a day (£44 per year).  Half plots are £22 per year. Renewals are on the 1st October each year. Priority will be given to residents of the Westerham Parish if there is a waiting list. Once you reach the top of the waiting list, we will contact you to invite you to inspect the available plot and decide if you wish to take it on.

To find out if there are vacant plots or more information, contact the Deborah Rogers, Deputy Clerk on: 01959 562147 or email drogers@westerhamtowncouncil.gov.uk
