More Parking Spaces in Westerham

New parking bays in Madan Road, Hartley Road and Costells Meadow Car Park in Westerham, with a further site in Crockham Hill Playing Field.

We are pleased to advise that following the long process of drawing up designs, applying for planning permission and securing funding, two of these schemes have finally been implemented.

Two parking bays have been created in Madan and Hartley Roads. There is still a little landscaping to be done but the bays have been ‘white lined’ to provide clearly identified spaces. 31 new parking spaces have been provided in total, which we hope will help to alleviate the parking problems for residents in the vicinity.

The third scheme to extend and resurface Costells Meadow Car Park, serving King George’s Field, is now underway. The work is on schedule and should be completed before the end of the January, weather allowing.

We do hope that these new parking spaces will help to address some of the parking issues in these areas!
