Plan 2024 – A New Local Plan for Sevenoaks District

From 16 November 2022  to 11 January 2023, Sevenoaks District Council (SDC)  asked local people and others for the views on the new Local Plan.

The new Local Plan covers the period up to 2040.

The plan includes proposals for new homes, protecting business space and supporting our high streets and new facilities such as schools, health centres and transport. It also aims to protect the District’s character and environment.

Responses are now being reviewed and an update will be presented to SDC’s Development and Conservation Advisory Committee later this year.
