What are you looking for?

As we come to the end of another year, a year which began in lockdown and is ending with the hope of a Christmas shared with those close to us, we reflect on the changes we have lived through.
The year has certainly seen our community at its best: volunteers helping those in need: shops and businesses opening, closing, reopening and reinventing themselves: key workers supporting us throughout. To all we say a heartfelt thanks.
Much has been achieved and looking forward, we have much to look forward to. The long-anticipated car parking spaces have begun to appear. By the time you read this, the installation of the signs indicating the 20mph zone should be underway. As we go into 2022, the plans for King George’s Field will be refined in the light of your views.
But at this time, we look to our families and our friends and think especially of those who will have an empty space at their festivities this year. May 2022 bring us all health, happiness and a return to the ‘new normal’
On behalf of all the Councillors and Staff of Westerham Town Council, may I wish all who live or work here a Happy Christmas and a peaceful and healthy New Year.
