Hannah Marsh

Hannah was co-opted onto the Council in July 2014 and elected in 2015. She is a member of the Youth and Community and Planning and Development Committees. Hannah lives in Westerham with her husband and is a Director of a Westerham based consultancy. Hannah is passionate about community engagement and positive social change. She became a Councillor as she wanted to get involved locally, represent the community and make a difference to where she lives. Hannah has a love of music and enjoys reading, swimming, yoga and running in her spare time.

Westerham Town Council is delighted to announce that Cllr Hannah Marsh has been declared runner up in the National Association of Local Council’s (NALC) Star Awards for Young Councillor of the Year. One of only three Councillors from the whole of the country to make it through to the final, she was presented with the award the NALC Annual Conference in Birmingham on 27th October 2015.

Her achievement is all the more remarkable as she has only been a Councillor for 18 months. During this time, she has established close contacts with a wide cross section of the community, and has, as a member of the Youth and Community Committee, played an important role in this year’s Christmas Lights, in the launch of Proud to Do Business in conjunction with the Town Partnership and in making sure that the Youth Club meets the needs of the young of the town.
